Who this covers

VIP Schoolz is a school management system used by schools and colleges in Bangladesh. It covers the VIP Schoolz mobile app and the websites at schoolz.vip and each school's own address on it. Each school decides what it records about its students, guardians and staff; BetterSoftz runs the system that holds it on the school's behalf.

What the app collects

  • Sign-in details. The username or email and password the school gave you. The password is sent to our server to sign you in and is never kept on the phone; the phone keeps a sign-in token until you sign out.
  • School records. What the school has recorded about you or your child: name, class, attendance, exam marks, fees and payments, routine, homework, notices and leave applications. The app shows these; teachers also send roll calls and marks through it.
  • A push notification token, so the school can send you notices. You can refuse notifications in your phone's settings.
  • Camera. Used only when you choose to scan a certificate's QR code or a teacher photographs answer sheets for marking. The pictures are read on the phone. For answer sheets, only the answers detected are sent to the server; the photos themselves are not uploaded.

What the app does not collect

No location, contacts, microphone, advertising ID or browsing history. The app has no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking.

Payments

Fees are paid through a payment gateway (bKash, Nagad or card via SSLCommerz) opened in your phone's browser. Your card or wallet details go to the gateway, not to us; we receive only whether the payment succeeded and its reference.

How it is used and shared

Your information is used only to run the school's services: showing records, taking attendance, publishing results, collecting fees and sending notices. It is visible to the school staff whose role needs it. It is not sold, and not shared with anyone except the services that make the system work (hosting, SMS and email delivery, push notifications through Google Firebase and Expo, and the payment gateway), or when the law requires it.

Storage and security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on our servers, with each school's data kept separate. The app keeps a copy of what it last showed on the phone so it works without a signal; signing out clears it.

Keeping and deleting your data

The school keeps student records for as long as it is required to. To correct your information, or to have your account and its data deleted, ask your school office, or email [email protected] with your school code and username. We act on deletion requests within 30 days, except records the school is legally required to keep.

Children

Students may use the app with an account their school gives them. We collect only what the school needs to teach and look after them, and nothing for advertising.

VIP Schoolz বাংলাদেশের স্কুল ও কলেজের জন্য একটি প্রতিষ্ঠান ব্যবস্থাপনা ব্যবস্থা। এই নীতি VIP Schoolz মোবাইল অ্যাপ এবং schoolz.vip ও প্রতিটি প্রতিষ্ঠানের নিজস্ব ঠিকানার ওয়েবসাইটের জন্য প্রযোজ্য। শিক্ষার্থী, অভিভাবক ও কর্মীদের কোন তথ্য রাখা হবে তা প্রতিষ্ঠান ঠিক করে; BetterSoftz প্রতিষ্ঠানের পক্ষে সেই তথ্য সংরক্ষণের ব্যবস্থাটি চালায়।

অ্যাপ কী তথ্য নেয়

  • সাইন ইনের তথ্য। প্রতিষ্ঠানের দেওয়া ইউজারনেম বা ইমেইল ও পাসওয়ার্ড। পাসওয়ার্ড শুধু সাইন ইনের জন্য সার্ভারে যায়, ফোনে রাখা হয় না; সাইন আউট না করা পর্যন্ত ফোনে একটি সাইন-ইন টোকেন থাকে।
  • প্রতিষ্ঠানের রেকর্ড। আপনার বা আপনার সন্তানের বিষয়ে প্রতিষ্ঠান যা রেখেছে: নাম, ক্লাস, উপস্থিতি, পরীক্ষার নম্বর, ফি ও পরিশোধ, রুটিন, বাড়ির কাজ, নোটিশ ও ছুটির আবেদন। শিক্ষকেরা অ্যাপ দিয়ে হাজিরা ও নম্বরও পাঠান।
  • পুশ নোটিফিকেশন টোকেন, যাতে প্রতিষ্ঠান আপনাকে নোটিশ পাঠাতে পারে। ফোনের সেটিংস থেকে নোটিফিকেশন বন্ধ রাখা যায়।
  • ক্যামেরা। শুধু আপনি যখন সনদের QR কোড স্ক্যান করেন, বা শিক্ষক মূল্যায়নের জন্য উত্তরপত্রের ছবি তোলেন। ছবি ফোনেই পড়া হয়; উত্তরপত্রের ক্ষেত্রে শুধু শনাক্ত করা উত্তরগুলো সার্ভারে যায়, ছবি আপলোড হয় না।

অ্যাপ কী তথ্য নেয় না

অবস্থান, কন্টাক্ট, মাইক্রোফোন, বিজ্ঞাপন আইডি বা ব্রাউজিং ইতিহাস নেওয়া হয় না। অ্যাপে কোনো বিজ্ঞাপন বা তৃতীয় পক্ষের অ্যানালিটিক্স বা ট্র্যাকিং নেই।

ফি পরিশোধ

ফি পরিশোধ হয় ফোনের ব্রাউজারে খোলা পেমেন্ট গেটওয়ের মাধ্যমে (বিকাশ, নগদ বা SSLCommerz-এর মাধ্যমে কার্ড)। কার্ড বা ওয়ালেটের তথ্য গেটওয়েতে যায়, আমাদের কাছে নয়; আমরা শুধু পরিশোধ সফল হয়েছে কি না ও তার রেফারেন্স পাই।

তথ্যের ব্যবহার ও শেয়ার

আপনার তথ্য শুধু প্রতিষ্ঠানের সেবা চালাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়: রেকর্ড দেখানো, হাজিরা নেওয়া, ফলাফল প্রকাশ, ফি আদায় ও নোটিশ পাঠানো। প্রতিষ্ঠানের যে কর্মীর দায়িত্বে প্রয়োজন, শুধু তিনিই তা দেখেন। তথ্য বিক্রি করা হয় না; ব্যবস্থাটি চালাতে যে সেবাগুলো লাগে (হোস্টিং, এসএমএস ও ইমেইল, Google Firebase ও Expo-র মাধ্যমে পুশ নোটিফিকেশন, পেমেন্ট গেটওয়ে) এবং আইনের প্রয়োজন ছাড়া কারও সঙ্গে শেয়ার করা হয় না।

সংরক্ষণ ও নিরাপত্তা

তথ্য এনক্রিপ্টেড সংযোগে (HTTPS) পাঠানো হয় এবং আমাদের সার্ভারে প্রতিটি প্রতিষ্ঠানের তথ্য আলাদা রেখে সংরক্ষণ করা হয়। নেটওয়ার্ক ছাড়াও চালানোর জন্য অ্যাপ সর্বশেষ দেখানো তথ্যের একটি কপি ফোনে রাখে; সাইন আউট করলে তা মুছে যায়।

তথ্য রাখা ও মুছে ফেলা

প্রতিষ্ঠান যতদিন বাধ্য, ততদিন শিক্ষার্থীর রেকর্ড রাখে। তথ্য সংশোধন বা অ্যাকাউন্ট ও তার তথ্য মুছে ফেলতে প্রতিষ্ঠানের অফিসে বলুন, অথবা স্কুল কোড ও ইউজারনেমসহ [email protected] ঠিকানায় ইমেইল করুন। আইনত যে রেকর্ড প্রতিষ্ঠানকে রাখতে হয় তা ছাড়া, মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে কার্যকর করা হয়।

শিশু

শিক্ষার্থীরা প্রতিষ্ঠানের দেওয়া অ্যাকাউন্ট দিয়ে অ্যাপ ব্যবহার করতে পারে। পড়ানো ও দেখাশোনার জন্য প্রতিষ্ঠানের যা দরকার, শুধু তাই নেওয়া হয়; বিজ্ঞাপনের জন্য কিছুই নয়।
